About Wombat Haul

Aussie essentials. Break-even prices. Dug up daily.

Our story

We started Wombat Haul because shopping for everyday household stuff in Australia had become a rip-off. $49 for a silicone lid set. $89 for a pet hair roller. Marked-up, dressed-up, shipped slow — and most of it made in the same factories as the cheaper version two shelves over.

So we built something different. We sort through hundreds of supplier catalogues each month, pull the genuinely useful gear, and list it at prices that would embarrass the big-box stores. No inflated RRPs. No endless "limited time" lies. No Kmart-run-around.

Who we are

Wombat Haul is an Australian-run online store shipping from partner warehouses across Australia and the broader Asia-Pacific. We're small, fast-moving, and obsessive about two things: low prices and fast delivery. That's it. No fluff.

Our mission

Make everyday Australian household essentials genuinely affordable — without the pretence, without the hidden costs, without the 20-minute checkout upsell.

How our pricing works

We don't run traditional retail margins. Most items on Wombat Haul sit at or near cost — we make our margin through volume and through our Wombat Club membership, which keeps running costs low for everyone. Members get 25% off every product plus first-access to deals.

Wombat Club membership

For $29.99 every 4 weeks, Wombat Club members get 25% off every product, free shipping Australia-wide, and exclusive weekly member drops. First 30 days free — cancel any time before renewal and pay nothing. Learn more about the Club →

Meet the founders

Two Aussies, one warehouse, no middlemen

We started Wombat Haul because we were tired of paying $40 for a $4 lid. So we cut out the brand markup, ship straight from one warehouse, and pass the savings on. That's the whole story.

Joshua runs the day-to-day — sourcing, shipping, customer support. Spent the last few years building DTC brands and got fed up with the markup most stores charge for basic gear. Wombat Haul is his answer.

"If we wouldn't pay $30 for it ourselves, we don't list it."
